
Product Owner
As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing and end-to-end product management of Komo’s product features!

What you will do?
Initiate and Plan Product Features
- 
Drive ongoing customer-centric research work to inform the vision and product enhancements; research and stay abreast of technological innovations and trends that are relevant to the digital banking space
 - 
Define, scope and detail product features and requirements for product development including requirements that will involve internal IT teams if applicable
 - 
Take direction from Chief Product Officer in developing products and features that are aligned to overall product strategy and business objectives
 - 
Transform Product Designer’s high-level process flows into Business Requirement Documents
 - 
Review UI/UX mockups for each product and feature (all scenarios, all steps/screens) as designed by Product Designer and provide inputs when necessary
 - 
Coordinate with Product Designer in reviewing process flow from vendors/partners
 
Execution and Monitoring
- 
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams such as business units and support groups such as accounting, finance, legal, compliance, risk, and capital markets to ensure a robust, regulatorily compliant, risk balanced, scalable, and operationally efficient product and infrastructure
 - 
Monitor development progress and release (with CTO’s assistance)
 - 
Manage meetings for scrum ceremonies, and lead sprint grooming, and planning sessions to represent the product team
 - 
Create sprints and tickets in devops-azure to help developers track features and products in development
 - 
Create acceptance criteria, and other details on the dev-ops tickets for each product/feature
 - 
Include necessary tech build for vendor/partner into the tech pipeline
 - 
Assist in testing and creation of test cases/test plans
 
User Growth & App Improvements
- 
Manage the tensions between customer, partner, and business value to enable a sustainable and best-in-class product that addresses the needs of all parties involved
 - 
Motivate, empower, and grow a cross-functional team to deliver solutions that delight our customers; lead by example; plan and conduct experiments to validate and grow solution ideas; challenge the status quo
 - 
Encourage a culture of experimentation, learning, and a growth-mindset - never settling for the status quo and innovating on the bleeding edge of what’s possible; Promote an appreciation for market-driven insighting, data-driven decision making, digital products and business opportunity, and drive awareness and support
 - 
Ideate and suggest product/feature enhancements that will push for the KPIs of the product (e.g. higher acquisition, retention, and engagement rate)
 - 
Develop mini-roadmap based on input from Data Scientist and Product Designer
 
What we're looking for?
Experience
- 
5-7 Years of Work experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Program Manager, Head of Product, or equivalent role required
 - 
3-5 years of experience working in fintech and banking, with a portfolio of product and feature releases that demonstrate well-crafted customer experiences
 - 
Direct experience launching solutions that integrate existing offerings with partner digital banking, credit, and payment solutions
 - 
Working knowledge of banking processes and systems a plus
 - 
In-depth understanding of the Android and iOS app development required
 - 
Experience working as part of Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban) is an advantage
 
Technical Skills
- 
Advanced Project Management, Software Development Management, Product Design, and Product Management skills
 - 
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams at the same time
 - 
Critical thinking and problem solving skills to attack problems at the root
 - 
Strong grasp of data and analytics; comfortable with statistical analysis, and not afraid to be wrong - but adjusts rapidly to new data
 - 
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
 - 
Familiar with business goals and objectives, app KPIs and metrics, and success indicators such as MAU (Monthly Active Users), MEU (Monthly Engaged Users), Acquisition, Engagement, Retention, Resurrection, and Churn
 - 
Ability to lead ideating, presentations, mentoring and group-thinking sessions. Ability to influence without authority.
 
Soft Skills
- 
Experience in handling or working with a development team/scrum team.
 - 
Excellent partnering, communication, negotiation skills, and execution in working with various Technology or partner Teams
 - 
Ability to articulate (verbally / visually) ideas, approach, concepts, options, risk, impact, and provides guidance to technical, non-technical, and Leadership audiences.

Research, Analytical, Investigative skills - for research and solving problems/issues related to app designs
 - 
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
 -
