Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for the user interface and user experience as you create the end-to-end flow of new products & app features while remaining consumer-centric

Design the User and App Experience

Conduct customer surveys, FGDs, and other tools to gather user insights
Optimize current UX for each product/feature
Ensure brand guidelines apply on current and future UI of EastWest Bank products and features
Design a UI/UX that focuses on better performance, efficiency, optimization, and differentiation

Execution and Monitoring

List scenarios and steps for each product/feature to create high level process flows that Product Owners can transform into Business Requirement Documents
Create UI/UX mockups for each product and feature (all scenarios, all steps/screens)
Review process flow from vendors/partners and create mockups accordingly

User Growth & App Improvements

Ideate and suggest product/feature enhancements that will push for the KPIs of the product
Conduct competitor analysis for the UI/UX of local and global competitors (e-wallets, digital banks, mobile banks, etc)

Experience

3-5 years of work experience as UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or equivalent role required
Work experience in a bank, financial app, and/or FinTech app required
In-depth understanding of the Android and iOS app development is an advantage
Experience working as part of Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban) is a plus

Technical Skills

Advanced Design Thinking, Product Design, User Interface Design, and User Experience Design
Knowledgeable on various design thinking and planning methodologies
Experience in using Figma, Invision, Sketch, and similar designing apps
Able to create end-to-end process flow designs, taking into account both positive and negative scenarios when designing the screens
Experience in doing user insight gathering such as planning, designing, and conducting customer surveys, FGDs, etc
Ability to lead ideating, presentations, mentoring and group-thinking sessions.

Soft Skills

Experience in handling or working with a development team/scrum team
Excellent partnering, communication, negotiation skills, and execution in working with various
Ability to articulate (verbally / visually) ideas, approach, concepts, options, risk, impact, and provides guidance to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences
Research, analytical, investigative skill for research and solving problems/issues related to app designs
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
