You only need to register/link your EWRB account for access via the Komo mobile app once. Once registered and you wish to access the account on a different device, you can do so by logging in to the Komo app on your new device. Access on a different device will require you to approve from your old device as part of the Komo app’s access security features.
You may check three possible causes of error:
1) Check if you've already linked your EWRB account to another device. Once you link your EWRB account, you will not be able to link it to another device. This is to maintainthe security of your account by preventing possible account takeovers.
2) Check if you provided the correct account information (correct account number, mobile number, gender, etc). If the account information you provided doesn’t match the records, you will not be able to link the EWRB account successfully.
3) Make sure you input the correct OTP sent to your EWRB registered mobile number. The OTP will be sent to the mobile number you have specified during the account opening process you did at your branch/store of account.
We are enhancing the experience so you will be able to open a Komo account after linking your EWRB account. Currently, once you link your EWRB account, you may not open a Komo account yet. For you to be able to have both Komo account and EWRB account in the app, you would need to have a Komo account first before linking. You may do so by tapping “Create your Komo account”, following the Komo account opening process, then link your EWRB account afterwards.
You may reach out to (02)8888-1777 and/or support@komo.ph for any issues or concerns with your Komo account.
The EWRB Stores may only help facilitate your account concerns to the Komo customer service hotline and other channels. Komo accounts currently will not be able to transact over the counter in stores. You may transact, send money, and pay your bills using your Komo account via the Komo app or your Komo Debit Card.
