Solutions Architect

Launch app features on time

• Provide architecture direction, engineering leadership, consultancy and support to the business and Komo projects

• Ensure robustness / flexibility of the design to enable the effective delivery of a solution utilizing repeatable technical playbooks and sound engineering design

• Ensures logical and physical architecture of a project aligns with the standards and reference architectures define by the Enterprise Architect 

• Regularly review business strategy and current technical capabilities to support the development of reference architecture, strategic roadmaps and the evaluation of current and future systems, operational models, as well as total cost of ownership

• Provide leadership founded on strong and deep technical experience 

• Coach, mentor and support development teams in implementing reference architectures and standards 

• Works with technical domains experts and Enterprise Architect to develop comprehensive solution architecture 

• Ensure project compliance with the approved technology roadmap and associated blueprints, standards and technical artefacts

• Actively participate in appropriate architecture governance body 

• Creates phased implementation architectures that deliver on the future state according to business priorities 

• Identifies architectural issues and risks and, if necessary, escalate them in a timely manner 

• Participates in the selection of vendor products and technologies 

• Works with the core EW IT architects to maximize the synergies and utilization of systems/process/experience layer capabilities across both organizations

• Experienced in cloud native, mobile and web application related projects 

• Experienced in modelling language to visualize the design of a system

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience related to IT Architecture 

• Understanding of Android and iOS app and backend development

• Experience working as part of an Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban) 

• Work experience in a bank, financial app, and/or FinTech app will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• BIAN, IFX, ISO20022 and / or other banking industry framework experience 

• TOGAF or other architecture framework experience 

• Aware of future technologies and trends, industry developments, competitive benchmarks vs other FinTech’s/Banks, and other expansion opportunities
