Dengue Financial Assistance is a protection benefit under Acci-Shield+ that provides financial support in case of dengue or accidents. It includes:

• A one-time cash assistance of up to ₱20,000 for confirmed dengue diagnosis

• Accidental Death and Permanent Disability coverage of up to ₱20,000

You may apply if you:

• Have a Komo or EastWest Rural Bank account

• Are 1 to 70 years old

• Are a Filipino citizen or a legal resident of the Philippines

You may avail one (1) policy for yourself

You may also avail one (1) policy per family member or friend

Yes. You may get a policy for family or friends, limited to (1) one policy per person.

No. You may only have (1) one active policy for yourself, across both apps.

Yes, but there is a 7-day waiting period after purchase.

Any symptoms or consultations during this period will not be covered. Coverage applies to future dengue cases after the waiting period.

You can apply directly through the Komo App.

Coverage starts immediately after successful payment and is valid for one (1) year.

Your application may be declined if:

• You already have an active policy

• You are outside the eligible age range

• You are not a Filipino or legal resident

Your payment will be fully refunded to the account used for payment.

Yes. Reapplication is allowed and subject to review.

You may renew once your coverage expires after one year.

No. Auto-renewal is not available. You will receive a reminder email at least 30 days before expiration.
