Dengue Financial Assistance is a protection benefit under Acci-Shield+ that provides financial support in case of dengue or accidents. It includes:
• A one-time cash assistance of up to ₱20,000 for confirmed dengue diagnosis
• Accidental Death and Permanent Disability coverage of up to ₱20,000
You may apply if you:
• Have a Komo or EastWest Rural Bank account
• Are 1 to 70 years old
• Are a Filipino citizen or a legal resident of the Philippines
You may avail one (1) policy for yourself
You may also avail one (1) policy per family member or friend
Yes. You may get a policy for family or friends, limited to (1) one policy per person.
No. You may only have (1) one active policy for yourself, across both apps.
Yes, but there is a 7-day waiting period after purchase.
Any symptoms or consultations during this period will not be covered. Coverage applies to future dengue cases after the waiting period.
